Best Race
Junior Cadet race at Rowrah in 2007 where I won on the day even after spending the night before in hospital. The third heat put the icing on the cake in this race when I beat Josh Daley in the wet after lining him up going into the last corner for an amazing overtaking move to beat him over the line by 0.008 of a second. Then again all my races I've ever had against Jason Mortimer are something to remember as we were closely matched riders that would change positions several times in any lap providing great racing for us and hopefully a lot of entertainment for the spectator.
Current Bike
Aprilia RS125, Polini GP3 4.2 and Polini GP3 6.2
Favourite Racers
International: Casey Stoner, British: Craig Jones
Finally
After three great years racing Polini minimoto's I am now really looking forward to racing on an Aprilia RS125, although I'm not giving up on minimoto's yet. I was over the moon when I managed to get a 1min 13sec lap time at Knockhill during my SACU Assessment when it was the first time I had sat on the bike never mind ride it. Now that I have been awarded the Niall Mackenzie Scholarship to help a rider from the Scottish Minimoto Championship graduate to the Scottish 125cc Aprilia series with the use of a race-prepared Aprilia RS125 for 2008 from Alan McIntosh and with the help of Niall Mackenzie's long term sponsors, an AGV helmet and RST leathers, boots and gloves. I can't wait to get on the bike and be competing in the Scottish Championship.
