Now in it's 5th year, the Scottish Junior Academy continues to go from strength to strength. This year we have 15 academy students, the most we have had in a single year.

As last year Knockhill and East Fortune have helped us out by giving us track time that is so valuable to our young racers.

Our instructors this year are, again, Niall Mackenzie, Craig Jones and former Academy students Jimmy Storrar, Davy Paton and Deane Brown, all willing to give up their time to help out the new batch of youngsters.

Former Academy students continue to make progress in the world of motorcycle racing with Jimmy Storrar competing in British Superstock, Davy Paton and Robbie Stewart in European Junior Superstock, Kev Coghlan in Spanish Supersport and Deane Brown with the Red Bull Rookies MotoGP Academy and who, together with Timmy Hastings and Niall Waddell is also competing in the British 125 series.
